Melodyne integrates elegantly and without latency into all popular MIDI/Audio sequences, supporting all the most common interfaces from VST to RTAS and from DirectX to Audio Unit — not to mention Rewire, ASIO and Core Audio! And Melodyne synchronizes to any configuration via SMPTE or MIDI Clock.

Melodyne is flexible & can handle MIDI :
Melodyne can import as well as export all common types of audio file, such as WAV, AIFF, SD2, SND and AU up to 48 kHz and 24 bits. The Studio Edition even offers the editing of stereo files and professional audio resolution up to 192 kHz and 32 bits.

Most of Melodyne’s parameters can be remotely controlled and automated via MIDI. This allows you to make effortless use of Melodyne’s power using the controller you’re most comfortable with.
Now you can export your audio as MIDI, with the musical parameters — pitch, dynamics, tempo, phrasing… — preserved. This opens a myriad of new possibilities for creative sound design. You can even use the phrasing from your vocal track to breathe new life into your synth!
