With the ARP2600 V, Arturia brings this powerfull analog synthesizer back to life. In addition to the original functions, MIDI control,polyphony, and the ability to create, save and recall presets are all provided. But that's not all: behind the speakers panels are hidden innovative features that take the initial design of the ARP 2600 to a new level. Four revolutionary tracking generators add sound design possibilites that have never been seen before. Additional effects are also provided and along with the original ARP sequencer, they form an exciting new virtual synthesizer.

If you are at the beginning of your learning curve, you will be enjoy getting started with the hundreds of presets provided, or if you are an experienced sound designer, the ARP2600 V will allow you to immediately add new dimensions to your music.

CS 80 V

In 1976, Yamaha introduced the CS-80. The price tag ($6,900) put it out of reach of most musicians, and the weight (220 lbs or 100 kg) made it sometimes hard to use on the stage...But the qualities of the CS-80, considered as Japans first great synthesizer, made it immediately famous in the music industry.
The CS-80 was popularised in the late 70's and early 80's by artists and groups like Toto, Jean-Michel Jarre, Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder or Vangelis, who helped to turn this synthesizer into a real myth.

The CS-80V offers all the features of the original synth, plus a new generation of innovative features, taking the original design to a new elevated level:

A modulation matrix
A multitimbral mode
An arpeggiator and a stereo delay
But is the sound of the CS-80V really close to the original? We would tend to say yes, as the synthesizer is based on TAE®, the proprietary technology developed by Arturia, and already successfully used in the Moog Modular V.

New ergonomics:

* One unique scrollable view to overlook the entire synth.
* Some of the modules are now interchangeable, allowing to configure - to a certain extent - the Modular the desired way.

New audio possibilities:
* Improvements on the oscillators (new free running), on the filters (better response to modulations), on the envelopes (faster and even closer to true analogical behaviour).
* New Unison mode
* New Audio-In possibilities
* The Soft-clipping emulation is now done on each mixer and not systematically on all of them, which saves on CPU load.

New modules:
* 1630 Bode Frequency Shifter. Developed under the Moog license by Harold Bode in 1964, it is extremely rare (a dozen Worldwide).
* 928 Sample and hold is also very rare. Originally assembled in a separate cabinet, it was adapted on the last modular series, in the late 70's.
* 912 Envelope follower (or Schmit Trigger). One of the most popular modules on the Moog systems, it was often added to original configuration to create complex modulation through the use of an output signal.
* 12 stage phaser. The Moog 12 Stage Phaser was very well known, and originally conceived as an external rack to the Modular systems.
* Formant Filter. A new module developed by Arturia, which did not exist on the original Moog systems. It allows the filtering of sounds according to the formants a, e, i, o, u.
* Ring Modulator. Also a new module developed by Arturia, it creates very metallic sounds.

New presets:
* 200 new presets to provide optimal use of the new modules.

Arturia has taken the FIRST and LAST synthesizers created by Sequential Circuits and brought them to you in an easy to use software format. As with all other soft-synths created by Arturia, we bring you a replica of the Prophet 5 and VS both visually and sonically. Using the PROPHET V will be second nature for all you old-pros, and if you’re new to the synthesizers, the only thing you’ll miss by not having the hardware versions is the workout from transporting them to the studio. Since the PROPHET V is designed with Arturia’s TAE® technology, you can be sure you won’t give up sound quality. There are three interfaces in the Prophet V: Prophet 5, Prophet VS, and Hybrid mode.
The Prophet 5 and Prophet VS emulations have all the goodies of the originals (5 voice polyphony, white noise modulators, dynamic waveform crossfading with joystick, etc). You can even import any existing preset banks from the original synthesizers in a format called SysEx sound data. This data was one of the truly unique attributes of the original synthesizers because it allowed musicians to save their presets for one of the first times ever. With Arturia's Prophet V, we have respected this spirit by allowing you to use the presets you've already created in the original synthesizer while playing the synthesizer in its software counterpart.

The Hybrid mode is both synthesizers stacked one on top of the other offering you an entirely new world of possibilities.
