STYLUS RMX™ - REALTIME GROOVE MODULE
Featuring the Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine!
Stylus RMX is a completely new groove-based virtual instrument plug-in for Macintosh and Windows. Stylus RMX is the first product to offer the combined power of Groove Control™ with Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine (S.A.G.E.™) technology giving users dramatic new control over groove production and performance.
Spectrasonics’ in-house development team created the new instrument from the ground up, with dozens of new features including the ground-breaking Chaos Designer™, a completely redesigned multi-page user interface, a new core library of sounds, all with a focus on realtime groove creation and performance.
New Core library
The massive new 7.4 gigabyte core-library in Stylus RMX has thousands of cutting-edge grooves and sounds that were created by Spectrasonics’ international sound design team, and produced by Eric Persing. The new core library contains nearly triple the amount of sounds originally offered in the original Stylus, and contains all the original material as well. The new sounds and grooves in Stylus RMX offer a much wider range of modern musical genres than the original Stylus. Mixes of grooves are broken down into individual tracks called Elements for flexibility and infinite combinations.
Also new in Stylus RMX are thousands of new Kit modules, 250 Kit patches, as well as user Kit construction....Users can create their own customized multitrack remix grooves and kits, save them into the plug-in, and even share them with other Stylus RMX users on different platforms and hosts. RMX 1.5 even comes with 500 new Multi grooves!
Chaos Designer™
Of the many new capabilities in Stylus RMX, possibly the most innovative feature is the Chaos Designer™. With simple controls, the user can introduce musical Chaos into the groove, which allows it to have constantly evolving variations— giving the impression that the audio grooves are improvising. The results can be subtle or extreme by setting the simple to use controls. A Capture feature allows the spontaneous audio chaos patterns to be made into a MIDI file, dragged and dropped into the host sequencer, and played back again for further editing by the user.

ATMOSPHERE™ -DREAM SYNTH MODULE
The world's most Massive Synth
The Atmosphere Dream Synth Module™, is a new type of software plug-in instrument that integrates a massive, three gigabyte core library of more than one thousand unique sounds and layer elements, with a powerful and intuitive interface for shaping new textures. Atmosphere works as a native plug-in instrument in all major hosts like Logic, Digital Performer, Cubase, Nuendo and Pro-Tools.
Atmosphere was designed from the ground up by acclaimed synthesist Eric Persing, well known for his sound design of classic Roland synthesizers and award-winning sample libraries.
Persing and his International team of sound designers developed the Atmosphere core library using over a hundred sound design devices and nearly every conceivable synthesis method including Granular, Additive, Wavetable, Wavescanning, Graintable, Neural Processing, Vintage Analog, Vector, Virtual Analog, FM, Plug-In manipulations, and unusual Acoustic sources as well. This custom core library gives Atmosphere its unprecedented variety of tonal textures, especially when compared to standard soft-synths.
The range of sounds this instrument is capable of is astonishing, from lush ethereal pads, to powerful leads, crystalline glass swells to dark brooding atonal clouds, unusual synth basses, evocative ambiences, deep drones, complex textures, vintage analog sounds, disturbing noise FX, europhasers, gorgeous ambient string ensembles, thick trance/techno sounds, wavetable sweeps, vocoded choirs, dense vocal washes, transparent evolutions, and shimmering prisms of harmonic convergence. Sounds this rich put even the best hardware synths to shame!
The stellar Sound Quality is this instrument's number one feature. The scope of sounds it can produce is very broad, making it extremely versatile in a wide variety of musical situations. This is made possible because there has never been a programmable synth released with such a massive, high resolution core wavetable to work with…completely dedicated to sound design elements (no stock pianos or oboes!)
Eric explains the recent enhancements to the instrument since the introduction of the Atmosphere concept in January: "Our original design for Atmosphere was intended for producing evolving pads and rich ambient sounds. However, in the evolution of the development of Atmosphere, we have significantly expanded the range of the core library's sonic palette and added new functions and capabilities to the interface, which now allow for a vast array of synth sounds and sound design, including unique leads and percussive sounds as well. We are very pleased to be releasing Atmosphere as a much more powerful synthesizer, capable of many inspiring and fresh sounds across the complete range of electronic music. It's also gratifying that we've been able to include these new capabilities without making the interface more difficult to use. When you're ready to get serious about Bass, this is the instrument! Trilogy is a programmable, sample-based sound module plug-in, that integrates a massive 3 Gigabyte core library of hundreds of brand new, remarkable Bass sounds, with a powerful user interface for creating your own unique patches.
The real power of Trilogy lies within its layering concept. Beyond the core library hundreds of incredible new Basses, every patch in Trilogy has two layers that you can tweak individually. You can also immediately mix and match any of the layers in the core library together, and edit each one independently. Imagine the power of combining the sound of a real Minimoog™ with a Fretless bass, or a Access Virus™ with a TB-303™, or even adding a Juno™ sub-oscillator to an Upright Bass! There are thousands of earthshaking combinations, and you'll never run out of options.

ACOUSTIC BASS
The highly detailed Acoustic Upright Bass is one of the highlights of this instrument. Because of Trilogy's unique interface, you can get a wide variety of gorgeous tones from this Bass. This is made possible because the interface has separate control of the Neumann™ U-47 Tube Microphone signal and the Direct Pickup signal, which was sampled through a vintage Neve™ 1083 Console. This stunning sounding acoustic is chromatically sampled, with multi-dynamic velocity switching. The hardest velocity in every Bass patch in Trilogy brings in real bass glisses, similar in concept to the idea Spectrasonics pioneered on the Hans Zimmer Guitar libraries. An acoustic Martin™ Dreadnought Bass Guitar is also available in the Acoustic section -perfect for those "unplugged" sessions!
